The stream is constructed using a PVC liner and three small garden
pools. It is specially designed to allow the fish to swim up from the pond into the
hatchery house. Since the stream does not have a natural source of water, a large
pump provides a flow of water. The picture to the right shows Andy Miller using a
jack to raise the concrete pool. The
fish will be able to swim into the hatchery house through a clear tube from this
pool. Once inside the fish will enter a large tank in the basement of the hatchery
house. Here the fish can be netted easily for various activities.The
